Jay Williams has been performing in the Austin area for over 30 years.  His fans love his smooth, soulful voice and club and restaurant owners appreciate his professionalism and dependability.  Jay is currently performing as a solo artist but has extensive experience performing in a trio and in full band productions.

Jay plays a wide array of musical genres including jazz, reggae, soul, R&B, blues and rock. His album entitled “See the Light” is an eclectic mix of R&B featuring soulful harmonies, a touch of country, conscious messages amid world rhythms and a special Christmas love song. Jay is a versatile musician who can adapt the sound of any song to the venue’s requirements.  Jay has the experience in performing all types of venues.

Jay has toured throughout the United States and was the lead guitarists for well-known bands such as the Killer Bees and Tribal Nation.  He has performed for events for Dell Computer, Hyatt Regency, UT -Austin, City of Austin, and private events at Barton Creek and Onion Creek Country Club.  Jay has performed at a variety of venues in the greater Austin area including Baxter’s Restaurant in Bastrop, Texas, the Lost Pines Hyatt Resort, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, and Johnny Finns on Lake Travis.
